Time to begin growing again. Come at 6:30 p.m.  to help Redeemer hear and head God's good plan for his children in the Baytown area. HEar and contribute to the discussion about the future of this church. A special letter is being mailed to members with more details. This meeting is open to any members-you do not have to be a Voter to attend.
 

Rally Day is August 22, 2010! Everyone is invited to help us bring in the Fall Sunday School Quarter. There will be hot dogs, punch, ice cream and a waterslide! :)
 

Mingles will meet Friday at 6:30 pm, August 27. Adults only. Join us for the mingles monthly fellowship of mingles. Please bring a salad, or sandwiches. Drinks will be provided.
 

Learn more about the saving grace of our faith in Jesus Christ. Pastor will teach youth confirmation classes beginning August 22 (Rally Day) through Confirmation Day (Pentecost) in May 2011. Please contact the church office, 281-422-2207 to enroll. Ages: 12-18, 6th grade and above.
 

Financial Peace University FREE preview Thursday, September 2 @ 6:30 pm. Financial Peace University is a 13 week class that will run through December 9,2010. The first class on September 9 is also a free class! :)

In addition to what your chapter may be planning to help earthquake victims in Haiti, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is launching a national $3 million “Helping Haiti” effort at Thrivent.com/helpinghaiti.

We will contribute $1, up to $1 million, for every $2 in donations members make by March 31to the following:

• Lutheran World Relief
• ELCA Disaster Response
• LCMS World Relief/Human Care
• WELS Committee on Relief

That means a potential of more than $3 million for relief efforts: $2 million —or more—from members and the added $1 million.

Please encourage members who want to partner with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in responding to this disaster to make donations at Thrivent.com/helpinghaiti or by calling 800-236-3736 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. When prompted, say "directory" and enter ext. 83003.

Chef Pastor Van Buskirk presents the main entree'.  Bring a side dish to share. Join in the fellowship and fun and meet your neighbors! Sponsored by the Angel Food Ministries Volunteer Team in thanksgiving for your support throughout the year...  Thanksgiving Services to follow at 7:00 PM. Raise your voice in hymns of thanks.
